A fuel survey of U.S. FBOs is conducted the first week of every month by ARGUS to calculate the average price for a gallon of Jet-A in all 8 FAA regions (excluding Alaska). The results of the survey conducted last week indicate a month over month decrease in the average price from October to November for all FAA regions. A simultaneous monthly price decrease in all 8 regions hasn’t been recorded since May 2023.
This graph depicts the monthly average price for a gallon of Jet-A in all FAA regions and the national average from January – November 2023. The Central Region has recorded the lowest price for a gallon of Jet-A every month of 2023 so far. This includes the lowest price recorded in all of 2023 - $5.89 in July. The most expensive price was recorded in February in the Eastern region at $8.9 / gallon.
