Nearly 290,000 business aviation flights were observed across North America in September 2023. In a year over year comparison, flight activity has fallen 4.2% from September 2022. The top 10 departure airports accounted for 10.9% of all activity observed in September 2023.
The cumulative fuel burn of the top ten city pairs accounted for 0.6% of the total fuel burn for the month. The route KTEB-KIAD accounted for the most fuel burn over the course of the month. The route with the largest individual average fuel burn was KTEB-CYYZ and ranked 6th in overall fuel burn for the month. Super mid jets alone accounted for 26% of the total monthly fuel burn.
