ARGUS TripCHEQ provides passengers with up-to-date information on their upcoming flight.  An ARGUS TripCHEQ is a comprehensive analysis of an operator’s credentials, including detailed information on the operator, aircraft, and pilots.

WHAT DO YOUR TRIPCHEQ STATUS RESULTS MEAN?

  • RED

    There is a known deficiency or the operator refuses to disclose information.

  • YELLOW

    Certain data may be missing, not verified, or does not meed the highest standard.  Additional information may be needed to obtain a conclusive result.

  • GREEN

    Operator is ARGUS Gold, Gold Plus, or Platinum rated.  All requirements related to the operator aircraft and flight crew have been met.

ARGUS Crew Requirements For TripCHEQ Ratings

PIC

  • 3000 hours of total flight time
  • 1500 hours of total PIC time
  • 250 hours of PIC time in type
  • ATP rating
  • Type Rating in aircraft
  • Current class 1 medical
  • Current and valid IPC, line check, rout check
  • No significant accidents, incidents, or enforcement action in the last 3 years
  • Salaried employee of operator, no contract pilots

SIC

  • 1000 hours total flight time
  • 500 hours total PIC time
  • Commercial, multi-engine, instrument rating
  • Current class 2 medical
  • 1000 hours total flight time current & valid IPC, line check, route check
  • No significant accident, incidents, or enforcement in the last 3 years

AIRCRAFT

  • Under operational control of the certificated 135 charter operator employing the crew
  • No significant damage or serious maintenance anomalies
  • Insurance minimums may apply

ARGUS minimums and qualifications are subject to change based on new federal or customers requirements.  For the most recent standards, please contact an ARGUS representative.  Be advised that ARGUS customers may specify their own minimum criteria to be used in the TripCHEQ evaluation which may exceed ARGUS requirements.

 

These requirements are intended as guidelines and do not constitute the full set of requirements or evaluations processed by TripCHEQ.  Other criteria or minimum may apply in certain situations.

 

*If PIC alone does not have 250 hours PIC time in type, then there must be 250 hours total PIC time in type on the flight deck, with PIC having a minimum of 100 hours.  If PIC has less than 250 PIC in type, SIC must have at least an ATP rating.
