A breakdown of the top city pairs for North American Business Aviation during Q3 2023 by aircraft type (Turbo Props, Small Jets, Mid Size Jets, and Large Jets) gives insight into which aircraft are leading in national city pair rankings or dominating in particular regions.
Six out of the top 10 city pairs for Mid Size Jets were also top 10 nationally. Large jets similarly had 4 of their top 10 city pairs in the national ranking. Turbo Props and Small Jets dominated the KBRO-MMAN route, which ranked 4th overall nationally.
The majority of the top national routes (7/10) ranked in two different aircraft categories. KACK-KBED and KIAD-KTEB, which ranked 5th and 10th respectively, made the top ten in only one aircraft category (Small Jets and Midsize Jets). KBED-KACK and KHPN-KACK didn’t rank in the top 10 of any aircraft category, implying that they made the lower ranks of several categories in order to rank nationally.
