ARGUS PROS is one of six IATA accredited audit organizations globally eligible to perform the IOSA audit.

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.

The IATA Standard Safety Assessment offers entry into an IATA Assessment Registry.

This is a voluntary evaluation program to extend the benefits of the operational safety and efficiency that developed from the IOSA program to the operators of smaller aircraft that are not eligible for the IOSA program.

A set of quality, safety, and requirement criteria to reflect the type of programs the Department of Defense seeks from air carriers providing aviation services.

As an IATA accredited audit organization, ARGUS PROS conducts assessments using the Multimodal Carrier Safety, and Oversight Audit Checklist for DoD approved air subcontractor’s.  This assessment shall include, at a minimum, a review of the air subcontractor’s safety programs in areas related to aircraft operation, maintenance procedures, and the airworthiness of aircraft.

Preparation is the key to success.  Whether an Initial or Renewal Registration Audit, an ARGUS PROS team of professional auditors can conduct a robust, customized gap analysis to meet your needs.  ARGUS PROS will compare an organization’s current operational management and control systems against standards and recommended practices required to meet program conformity.  PROS can evaluate selected areas or all requirements, of an organization’s operation against the desired standards to ensure conformity and effectiveness.

150 Days Prior to Expiry: Audit Agreement
Scheduling Your Audit
120 Day Audit Window: The Audit
120 Day Audit Window: Audit Follow-up
120 Day Audit Window: Audit Report
Quality Control and Approvals
Registration and Report Release
Six to twelve months in advance of the audit contact ARGUS PROS to enter into an audit agreement.
A signed contract/agreement will initiate the audit schedule and planning of your IOSA audit and lock in your preferred dates.
150 days prior to IOSA registration expiry date - Five-day robust review for your organization against the IOSA Standards.
Work directly with PROS staff addressing any non-conformities resulting from the on-site audit.
30-days prior to registration renewal date - PROS staff will conduct a full quality check of the report then submit to IATA for final approval.
14-days after audit report submission - IATA will update operator registration and release the final report.
