When you request more information about an ARGUS audit, your information is sent to our sales team. A sales representative will reach out with questions about your needs and information helpful to our aviation auditors and the audit contract.
ARGUS's audit scheduler will reach out and find the best time for your company and our auditors to come out. Audits are usually performed 60 days after they are scheduled.
The 60 days between scheduling your audit and the aviation audit are used as pre-audit preparation. Your company will need to submit manuals and reports to your auditor 15 calendar days prior to your audit. ARGUS auditors use these documents to prepare for your companies audit.
Two auditors will come to your facility to perform your aviation audit. One auditor usually focuses on maintenance. The other auditor focuses on the operations side of your audit. The audit will take a minimum of two days. All post-audit time frames are calculated from the last day of the audit.
Within 10 calendar days of your audit ARGUS will conduct a full quality control of your audit. When this is complete, we will provide you with a Corrective Action Record for all findings.
If your audit has no findings, ARGUS will close the audit. The Final Audit Report is made available to you as soon as your audit is closed.
You have 90 calendar days from the date of your audit to correct and submit all findings on your Corrective Action Record.
Between 90 and 120 days after your audit, ARGUS reviews the proof of correction you submitted. We may contact you with questions we have. The faster you answer, the quicker we can complete the process. Your audit will be closed within 120 calendar days of your audit. When your audit closes the final audit report will be made available.
